Notifications and activity

Notifications let you know when something happens around your posts. They're called Notifications on the website and Activity in the apps. In the apps you can also get push notifications on your phone, if you allow them.

What you can hear about

• Reactions: someone loved your post.
• Comments on your posts.
• New followers, follow requests, and requests accepted.
• Streak reminders: a nudge when your streak is about to break.
• Weekly digest: a summary of the week from the people you follow. It's off until you turn it on.
• Visits by people you follow: when someone you follow goes to a place on your list.

Choosing what you get

1. Go to Settings, then Notifications. In the apps, you can also tap the settings icon in Activity.
2. Switch each type on or off, or choose “Pause all notifications”.
