Who can see your posts

By default, anyone can see your profile and your posts, even people without a Lysties account. A private account puts you in charge of who sees your posts.

With a private account

• Only followers you approve can see your posts.
• Following you becomes a request that you accept or decline. People who already follow you stay.
• Your posts and profile are kept out of search engines.
• Your name, photo and bio stay visible, so people know whose account it is. Everyone else sees “This account is private”.
• You won't appear on leaderboards, in any city or Everywhere.

Turning it on or off

1. On the website, go to Settings, then Privacy & safety. In the apps, open your Profile, tap Settings and look under Privacy & safety.
2. Switch “Private account” on or off. It saves straight away.
